RIPPLE

RIPPLE is inspired by the ocean wave layers along the beach. It is made by casting mold. Temperature difference between mold and melting glass, dropping controlled by hand, creates movements as ocean waves. The final effect is unpredictable and unrepeatable, every piece is a unique product. The ripple texture and flow marks born during the glass production process had been considered as defect in the past. Now through the new design concept, it has been turned into product’s particularity and charm. Three different dimensions create numerous combination and possibilities, meanwhile giving a multilayers texture and light & shadow effect.
