For us, while thinking new ideas for a product, it’s necessary to find out the essential user’s demand by pursuing the history of the object, then to achieve the purpose of redefining and creating a new product. Therefore, we study the source of mirror, and try to go beyond the history.

 

Up until now, mirror is an object that reflects light and image. We captured inspiration by nature: water surface is the earliest and the most common light reflecting medium on earth.

 

Inspired by this, we deconstruct the state of the water surface, find the order and reconstruct the water ripple. This design is made of CNC and electroplating plastic with LED installation. The LED backlight creates floating effect and make it a surrealism art with functionality.
